I smell a bit like a pancake.

Maple syrup season has me boiling our sap down to tasty syrup, but I am still making time to paint and I am ready to begin my painting a day blog on April 1st. 

I love watching art videos and recently I found a British series called The Forger's Masterclass. It is brilliant to watch as a famous art forger, John Myatt teaches students to paint like the masters. You can find all 9 episodes on YouTube.

The countdown begins!

The countdown begins! One week, On April 1st I will officially begin my Painting a Day journey. I have been warming up to the idea and you can view my past three-months paintings on my Pre-Blog Painting pages , (January), click here for the month of  February Paintings  , click here for March .

My rules for this journey are simple.
1. Paint or even draw something every weekday.
2. Post it no matter how badly it turned out.
3. Learn from each painting by commenting on what I like about the piece, what I wish I would have done differently or what I dislike about it.

And my mantra? Just Paint!
